In order to further stimulate employees' work enthusiasm, improve their skill level, and ensure safe production, on March 1, 2023, under the leadership of the trade union of Yatu Technology (Zhangjiagang) Co., Ltd. and with the strong cooperation of the production department, warehouse and other departments, the company's first "Forklift Operation Skill Competition" was successfully held.
According to the competition schedule, 6 competition judges, 14 contestants, and staff have gathered at the competition venue (unloading area) 10 minutes in advance. The company's general manager, Mr. Jiang, also attended the scene and is looking forward to the opening of the company's first forklift competition with everyone.
At 12:30, the executive vice general manager of the company, Mr. Song, delivered a speech to the competition and cheered on the employees who participated. The union chairman and Manager Chen of the Planning and Control Department once again emphasized the competition requirements and scoring details. Subsequently, with enthusiastic applause from everyone, the forklift competition officially began!
As an outstanding forklift driver, warehouse contestant Yang Bing took the lead in giving everyone a standard demonstration operation.
After the other contestants finished observing, there were those who were eager to try and those who were nervous about rubbing their hands, but their determination to compete was the same. During the competition, the warehouse player Chen Sieqing's operation was as stable as Mount Tai, and the flowing clouds attracted everyone's applause; Warehouse player Tang Xiaohua's operation was trembling and trembling, indicating that he was too nervous; Peng Hehai, a resin workshop contestant, was impressed by the advantage of a relatively short loan period... The entire competition process was full of climaxes and intense competition.
At the same time as the contestants competed, the judges were also busy scoring. In line with the high requirements and standards of safety management of "strict requirements for safety, and accidents caused by looseness and collapse", the judges have provided objective and strict scoring from aspects such as competition time, key positions, and operating standards. In case of disputes, they have taken out a tape measure for multiple measurements and proofreads to ensure accuracy, fairness, and impartiality.
After two hours of intense competition, the forklift skills competition was successfully concluded. Contestants Chen Siqing and Wang Haihui from the warehouse, as well as Peng Hehai from the resin workshop, respectively, won first, second, and third place in the competition. All participants received gifts carefully prepared by the company's labor union.
The successful holding of this skill contest has effectively promoted the two-way communication between the management and employees, and strengthened the company's Centripetal force and cohesion. Everyone expressed that in their future work, they will continue to strive to improve themselves and strive to have better and outstanding performance to give back to the company!
